My journey in healthcare began with a passion for helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
As a Registered Nurse with experience in hospice and behavioral health, I witnessed how many individuals struggle to make meaningful lifestyle changes despite receiving medical advice.
I realized that people often need more than information. They need guidance, encouragement, accountability, and someone who takes the time to understand their unique circumstances.
This inspired me to establish Ethereal Balance and Functional Wellness.
Today, my mission is to help adults, particularly women over 50, navigate the challenges of aging with greater confidence.
My coaching focuses on bone health, metabolic wellness, menopause transitions, and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Coaching happens by phone or video, from wherever you are comfortable.
My philosophy is simple: You deserve to feel strong, confident, and empowered at every stage of life.
How I think about this work
Wellness is not about perfection.
It is about creating balance, building resilience, and making meaningful changes that support your long-term health. Three things I hold to, in every session.
You are the expert on your own life
I can bring the coaching and the clinical background. You bring what your weeks actually look like, what you have already tried, and what you will realistically keep doing. The plan comes out of both.
Balance, not perfection
A week that goes sideways is information, not a verdict. We plan for the birthdays, the travel and the low-energy weeks before they arrive, so one of them cannot undo a good month.
Resilience you can feel
The point is not a number on a sheet. It is getting up off the floor without a hand, sleeping through the night, and feeling steady on your feet. That is what we are actually building.
Background and training
What I bring, and what I do not.
Exactly which qualifications are complete, and which are still under way, so you can judge my training for yourself.
Five of these are finished. One is not, and it is set apart below so there is no confusion about it.
Completed
Registered Nurse
Registered nursing, with experience in hospice and behavioral health — the two places where the conversation is rarely only about the body.
Certified Functional Health & Medicine Coach
Certification complete. It trained me to work on the whole picture — how you eat, move, sleep and handle stress, and how those things pull on each other.
Master Health and Wellness Coach Training by AFIPA
Master level health and wellness coach training through AFIPA, completed.
GI-MAP Microbiome Diagnostic
Training in GI-MAP microbiome diagnostic testing, so the gut picture is read rather than guessed at.
In-Functional Lab Analysis
Training in functional lab analysis: how to read the lab work you already have and understand what it is telling you.
Training toward NBHWC board certification eligibility
I am completing the health and wellness coaching training that makes me eligible to apply for board certification through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Eligible to apply is not the same as certified: I am not board certified yet, and I will not say that I am.
What I am not
I am not a doctor, a dietitian or a therapist, and I do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. I do not replace your medical care, and I am careful never to work against it. If something belongs with your doctor or your care team, I will say so plainly and send it their way. Coaching is the support around your medical care, not a substitute for it.
